Affleck described the book as “a guide that is simple to use, provides a selection of trails ranging from suitable for kids to the challenging, and is a handy size to slip into a backpack“.

Christian Morrow, the editor of the Byron Shire News attended the launch of Byron Trails in Byron Bay and described the book as “the anticipated guidebook of walking trails accessible from Byron Bay“.
